Child Safety Standards Policy

Thi policy outlines standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and it applies to All users, developers, moderators, and third-party partners of LinkApp.

1. Purpose

• The purpose of this policy is to protect children under the age of 18 who interact with LinkApp by implementing stringent safety, privacy, and moderation standards. This policy aligns with international child protection laws and aims to create a safe digital environment.

2. Age Restrictions

• Children under the age of 13 are not permitted to create an account (COPPA compliance).

• Users aged 13–17 require explicit parental or guardian consent before account creation.

• Age verification mechanisms, including AI-based age estimation and two-factor parental authentication, are used to detect and restrict underage access.

3. Data Privacy & Consent

• Minimal data collection is practiced, collecting only what is necessary for app functionality.

• Parental consent is required before collecting or processing any personal data of minors.

• Data of children is not sold, shared, or used for targeted advertising.

• Parents/guardians have the right to access, review, and delete their child’s data at any time.

4. Content Controls & Moderation

• All content (posts, images, comments) is moderated through a combination of:

: AI-based filters for inappropriate language, imagery, or grooming patterns.

: 24/7 human moderation for escalated or flagged content.

• Inappropriate content, including violence, sexual content, or bullying, is automatically flagged and removed.

• Users can report abuse anonymously. A clear, fast-tracked process is in place for reports involving minors.

5. Communication Safety

• Private messaging is restricted for underage users. Messaging can be:

: Disabled entirely

: Only allowed with approved friend lists and parental controls

• AI tools monitor messages for signs of grooming or predatory behavior, with immediate alerts and escalation protocols.

6. Parental Controls

• A Parent Dashboard allows:

: Viewing and managing child’s connections

: Controlling screen time

: Controlling screen time

: Setting content filters

: Reviewing activity logs and privacy settings

• Notifications are sent to parents for major activity, including friend requests or account changes.

7. Educational Content & Prompts

• Age-appropriate educational content is embedded in the platform, teaching:

: Digital literacy

: Online etiquette

: How to spot and report harmful behavior

• Regular in-app prompts encourage children to talk to a trusted adult if they feel unsafe.

8. Enforcement & Consequences

• Accounts found violating child safety standards (e.g., impersonating a child, Child grooming, Sexualization of a minor, Sextortion, Trafficking of a child.) are:

: Immediately suspended or banned

: Reported to relevant law enforcement authorities

• Third-party vendors and partners must comply with this policy or risk immediate termination of services.

9. Legal Compliance
